There’s something really special about being invited into a family’s home — into the space where their everyday life unfolds.
Megan and Rory welcomed me into theirs on a beautiful, sunny February afternoon. Their home was warm and lived-in, filled with soft light and the kind of little details that tell stories without trying. We moved through the space naturally, letting moments happen as they always do. A cuddle on the couch. Little hands reaching for mum and dad. The kind of laughter that only exists at home. What I loved most was how present Megan and Rory were with them.
There’s a softness to photographing families like this. No big production, no expectations — just real connection, exactly as it is. And that’s always where the magic lives.
These are the moments that become everything later on.
